Deirdre Fulton has performed internationally as a soloist in Tel Aviv, Israel with Maestro Paul Nadler. She was awarded this opportunity while attending the International Vocal Arts Institute for which she received full scholarship. She has also performed as a soloist in Graz and Wiez, Austria with renowned conductor Edoardo Müller, while participation in the American Institute of Musical Studies. In Toronto, Canada Deirdre has appeared as a guest soloist with Opera Lirica Italiana, Canadian Sinfonietta, The Tonal Virtuosi Orchestra, Dietrich Group Dance Company, Evergreen Brick Works The Palestrina Chamber Chorus and The Glenn Gould School. A grant recipient form the Canada Council for the Arts, Deirdre was awarded numerous scholarships while attending the University of Toronto's Opera School and The Glenn Gould School. She currently takes part in weekly masterclasses with renowned tenor Ermanno Mauro and is grateful for the opportunity. Last year, Deirdre made a guest appearance as Marccelina in The Glen Gould Schools production of Le Nozze di Figaro with Maestro Bernardi conducting. She also headlined at the Toronto fundraiser for Evergreen Brick works, Wild in the City.Recently, Deirdre has toured throughout China with the performing operatic ensemble Bel Canto that she founded. Previous operatic performances include the roles of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Frau Fluth in Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor, Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Miss Jessel in The Turn of the Screw, The Witch in Hansel and Gretel, La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi and Erst Dame in Die Zauberflöte.
