Upcoming Concerts with EPO 2012

Thank you for your support and patronage of our 51st season. We have already presented three exciting evenings at the symphony with two completely sold out concerts. Your attendance at concerts plus donated goods and generous bids at the Christmas Concert and Auction helped us to raise over $8000.

We are looking forward to our final three concerts of the season. At each concert, we will perform a major symphonic work and feature a world-renowned soloist: cellist, Winona Zelenka; clarinetist, Zoltan Kalman; and classical guitarist, Jeffrey McFadden. Some of the great composers we have programmed include Brahms, Beethoven, Weber, and Wagner plus in our season finale, the Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique.

Our upcoming concert on February 24, 2012, Classical Gold will feature some familiar favourites: Handel's Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, the Elgar Cello Concerto and Beethoven's Symphony No. 3, Eroica. Before each concert, you are invited to our pre-concert chat with Sabatino Vacca for an opportunity to gain incite on the music and performers for the evening.
